Wheel Alignment in Wolverhampton
Wheel Alignment by First Stop Wolverhampton
If you’re searching for a wheel alignment in Wolverhampton, you may already know that correctly aligned wheels are absolutely essential for safe and comfortable driving. But did you know that wheel alignment can also save you money in a couple of ways? Firstly, poorly aligned tyres wear out faster and need to be replaced more often. Secondly, they can also decrease fuel mileage by up to 10%, meaning you have to fill up more often.
The solution is to have your wheels properly aligned—and then keep them that way with an annual wheel alignment by First Stop Wolverhampton. Our highly skilled technicians use state-of-the-art technology to ensure your steering is centred and that all four wheels are parallel, sitting flat on the road.

Frequently asked questions
No, it's not the same.
Alignment involves setting the wheels on each axle in parallel, and the axles parallel to each other, adjusting wheel angles so that the car steering does not drift to one side, as well as ensuring driver comfort and good grip for the tyres, thus guaranteeing safety at the wheel.
Balancing is a mechanical process of adjusting the wheels to prevent vehicle vibration at any speed, no matter what type of driving is used.
The modern car is built for comfort, performance and handling. In order to achieve and maintain the best ride possible, the steering and suspension needs to be measured and adjusted within the motor manufacturer’s specifications. This can only be done by measuring all four wheels and having a proper full four wheel alignment measurement.
Wheel alignment can be affected by hitting the kurb or a large pothole in the road or travelling regularly on gravel roads. If alignment is out, it can cause excessive wear to your tyres and problems with steering or suspension.
First Stop Wolverhampton customer reviews
"I don’t normally leave reviews but just want to say a big thank you for today lads for sorting my car out for me even though you couldn’t get me in you still sorted me out so 10/10 from me a very professional and cleanest garage going will definitely be using again"
"Appointment booked online for 2 tyres and wheel alignment. We turned up at 8:30 on a Saturday morning and the car was done by just after 9:00. Have used these guys before and have never had an issue (other places have damaged the rims whilst changing the wheels)."
"First stop did us a solid favour when our battery died near West Park. Big thanks to Josh and the team for jump starting our car at short notice."
"Fast, professional, great value. Drove in without an appointment today, thought I had a puncture, pulled into a very clean bay immediately. Mo quickly established it was a valve issue not a puncture. This issue was solved very quickly with no fuss. Served by Marcus, polite, and professional. All round fantastic value. Couldn’t ask for more expectations exceeded. Great job First Stop Wolverhampton team"
"Stopped at firststop garage in Wolverhampton for a quickie as I noticed a red message on my dashboard about my rear right tyre hoping they'd look after me without an appointment. I explained the issue and was asked to put the car in one of their bays. Witjin secs, a mechanic by the name of Josh looked at my tyres. He checked the pressure and noticed I was a couple of psi below. He added air into each of my tyres and explained to me that if I'm a couple of psi down, it's normal for the dashboard to show the issue. He was friendly and professional. I was not charged for the service. I think that was really kind to do it for free for air. Thank you firststop garage, thank you Josh for solving my air issue. I will be recommending you to other people. Keep up the good work"
"Great local garage, have looked after mine and our family's cars for years"
"Woke up with an almost flat tyre, and drove to First Stop with no appointment or even a phone call. They offered repair or replace, and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I was charged only £22 in total, and think both the service and value were excellent. There is also free tea/coffee in the waiting area, with a donation bucket, for a very worthy local charity, so if you like beverages, and good causes, it may be worth having small change."
"Called in with a slow puncture not sure if a new tyre would be necessary.Job was assessed, repair made, paid & back on the road inside 35 minutes. Great service from Simon & his guys."
"Excellent reception and communication..Thanks to Josh as he did a great job 👍🏼"
